　　雅思口语，写作一直中国大陆考生的软肋，说真的，说多了都是泪。其实大家在准备雅思的时候，稍微的注意下表达，当然了，这只是其中的一项评分标准了，分数就自然让考官对你刮目相看了。老师在BBC English上看到不少这样的表达，遂汇总如下，供天下烤鸭参考学习之。(来源BBC English)
　　1. 坚持(替换insist)
　　(1).cling to
　　例句：Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would cling to your life, for without them, life is meaningless.
　　翻译：与你内心最贴近的东西,切莫等闲视之。要像坚守生命一样坚守住它们，因为失去它们，生活就会毫无意义。
　　(2).adhere to
　　例句：It is more harmful to compromise one's own beliefs than to adhere to them.
　　翻译：折衷自己的信仰比坚持信仰要有害。
　　(3).cleave to
　　例句1：The tribe cleave to their old belief even after the European arrive.
　　翻译：即使在欧洲人到来之后，这些部落仍固守著它们古老的信仰.
　　例句2：Permit nothing to cleave to you that is not your own; nothing to grow to you that may give you agony when it is torn away.
　　翻译：不要让身外之物缠住，不要习惯于那些被剥夺时会带给你痛苦的事物。
　　(4).stick to
　　例句：Stick to your advantages and don’t stray from them without reasoned justification.
　　翻译：固守自己的优势，你生而有自己的特殊天赋。
　　2. 努力(替换struggle)
　　(1).endeavor
　　例句：Acknowledge past events, but endeavor to manage the present with a view to creating a brighter future.
　　翻译：承认过去的事件，但是尽力用一种创造更光明的未来的观点来把握现在。
　　(2).strive
　　例句：Though it might be difficult, you should strive to be patient in your life.
　　翻译：虽然学会忍耐是很困难的，但是在你的生活中，你应该努力变得忍耐。
　　(3).exert oneself to do
　　例句：You never exert yourself to accomplish anything.
　　翻译：失败是因为对自己不够狠，对梦想不够执着。
　　(4).do one's utmost to
　　例句：We will do our utmost to help these refugees.
　　翻译：我们将尽全力帮助这些难民。
　　3. 极其，非常(替换very)
　　(1).exceedingly
　　例句：This was an exceedingly difficult decision to take.
　　翻译：做这个决定非常地难。
　　(2).remarkably
　　例句：These markets have much in common, but each is also remarkably different.
　　翻译：这些市场有很多共同点，但每个市场也都显著不同。
　　(3).enormously
　　例句：You have already contributed enormously to the construction of these defenses.
　　翻译：你们为这些防线的建设已经作出了巨大的贡献。
　　4.改变，转变(替换change)
　　(1).convert
　　例句：Innovators rarely come up with new ideas; instead, they convert old ideas into new ones, adapting them from one context to another.
　　翻译：创新者很少产生新创意， 他们把老的创意变成新创意，让其从一个环境转换到另一个环境。
　　(2).alter
　　例句：You can alter your reality if you will create your own map and lead others in the direction you want to go.
　　翻译：如果你创造自己的蓝图并且指引别人向你想要的方向前进的话，你可以改变你的现实。
　　(3).metamorphose
　　例句：We are in constant metamorphose, nothing in life is eternal.

　　(1).promote
　　例句：China has only one goal over the issue of Afghanistan: to promote peace and development in Afghanistan.

　　(2).advance
　　例句：Timid people don't get promoted. They don't advance and grow and become powerful in the marketplace.

　　(3).facilitate
　　例句：The new airport will facilitate the development of tourism.
　　翻译：新机场将促进旅游业的发展。
